Lunar Eclipse Watch Party

As the Earth’s shadow gradually envelops the Moon, you will have the opportunity to experience the fascinating transition as the Moon moves deeply into the Earth's shadow, resulting in a striking red hue during totality. This event promises to be both educational and awe-inspiring, offering insights into the science behind eclipses. Don’t miss out on this chance to engage with experts and fellow science lovers under the night sky. Bring a chair or blanket as the best way to view an eclipse is to sit, relax and enjoy with your naked eyes.

Bella Vista Public Library STEAM Workshop
This is the Bella Vista Library March STEAM Workshop. It will be on 03/26 from 3:00 to 4:30. This program is a self-directed learning experience for children aged 6 – 12 in our community. There are usually 3 – 4 stations with different experiments/activities, one of which the participants can take home.

There will also be ample time dedicated to questions and answers with an Information Security Sr. Engineer.

Gravette Public Library Summer Reading
NWA Space and Science is proud to support the Gravette library summer reading program aimed at fostering a love for books and reading. We believe that reading is a gateway to discovery and understanding, essential for nurturing young minds. This summer, we encourage students of all ages to explore books related to gaming, simulations and play.

Winterfest is an indoor winter carnival for children ages 5-10 and their families. Carnival games, food and prizes. Sponsored by the Bella Vista Rotary club. Admission is free.

Family Day is a FREE event for families with young children put on by the Arkansas PBS Foundation with support from community partners in the area that are interested in giving back to the community. The goal is to create an inclusive environment where families, regardless of economic status, can come and enjoy a full day of fun with their kids.

Rogers New Tech is emphasizing community service this year. We have been invited to come tell about our mission, vision, and the volunteer positions we are currently seeking. NWA Space and Science Center personnel will be talking to the high school students about volunteer opportunities to help build a science center.
