The facility and parking lots will require a minimum of 6 acres. An ideal location will have an additional 1-3 acres for the development of a rocket garden and 6-10 acres for environmental restoration.
-
Environmental restoration is a crucial process aimed at reversing environmental damage caused by human activities. It involves restoring ecosystems, habitats, and biodiversity to their original state or as close to it as possible. This restoration work may include activities such as reforestation, wetland restoration, habitat preservation, and species reintroduction.
By engaging in environmental restoration efforts, NWA Space and Science Center will contribute to the studies on how to mitigate the impacts of climate change, protect endangered species, and ensure a sustainable future for all living beings on our planet.
In addition all that we learn can be applied toward humans living on the Moon and Mars. Ecology and environmental restoration are a collective responsibility that requires dedication, resources, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all life forms, where ever they are.
