Holt Middle School star party
NWA Space and Science is excited to announce a star party at Holt Middle School on April 15, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This engaging event invites students, families, and community members to come together and explore the wonders of the night sky.
Attendees will have the opportunity to observe celestial objects through telescopes, participate in hands-on activities, and learn from knowledgeable science educators and volunteers. Various stations will feature engaging presentations on topics such as constellations, planets, and the science of stargazing.

NWA Space and Science is helping with a star party for the 5th grade at Prairie Grove Middle School.

Vaughn Elementary Space Exploration
Dr. Katherine Auld of NWA Space and Science Center will share information about the upcoming eclipse, how eclipses occur and how to safely view the eclipse.

Public Schools Outreach
Board Chair, Dr. Katherine Auld, will attend Career Day at Elmwood Middle School to talk about careers in astronomy.
NWACC ASTR 2004 Observing
NWA Space and Science Center volunteers will help with a star party for NWACC astronomy students along with their friends and families.
